Step 1:
Cable tie your lights to a leg of the tree frame just before the first light.
Note: If your tree will go on grass you may want to leave about 1 inch of the leg below the first cable tie.
Step 2:
Wrap the lights around the tree, using cable ties on every other leg. Try to space the lights to get about three rotations from bottom to top.
This first pass of the lights will help hold the lights in place on the way back down. |
Step 3:
Wrap the lights once around the top of the tree. |
Step 4:
Begin wrapping the lights from the top to the bottom. On this pass you want each wrap to be about 1 inch below the last.
Step 5:
Half way done.
Use a cable tie on every 3-5 legs, as required to keep the lights in place. |
Step 6:
Continue wrapping all the way to the bottom of the tree.
Step 7:
Just pas the last light wrap the wire around a leg several times and cable tie it back to the wire.
Cut off all the ends of the cable ties.
Note: You can wrap additional strands of lights to add colors to your tree. |
